千里之行始于足下 I just came across this very interesting book: "One Small Step Can Change Your Life: The Kaizen Way" by Dr. Robert Maurer, a psychologist on the staff at the UCLA medical school. This idea of doing small things has always appealed to me: who has the time or space to add another big project on their plate these days. Small things, no sweat. I've learned not to sweat the small stuff. But I've also found even back in the old days when I was laboring over my dissertation: those small things can easily grow and turn into something that would make you sweat a little. But nothing unpleasant. A little bit of sweat is good for the body. That was how I started working on yoga more than two decades ago, and then later on meditation, and mudras and mantras ... I thought it was all a hobby, but now must admit, gladly, it has grown way beyond its pastime boundary.
